Two Betting Options For Indian Punters Other Than Cricket

Indian punters will be kept busy this week as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is down to its last week of action in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The final week will see a lot of betting action as the playoffs occur and lead into the IPL final.

While IPL fans will be super excited about the action in store for them, betting fans will be on edge as it is always difficult to predict a winner and bet right when it comes down to the playoffs. If you are looking for games and betting options that have better odds than the IPL playoff games, these options below will be of interest to you.

Bledisloe Cup 2020

The Rugby fan following in India has grown steadily over the years, and Indian rugby fans always get excited when the All Blacks play. The All Blacks won the Bledisloe Cup 2020 in Australia on October 31 when they defeated the Wallabies at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia.

The fourth and final test will take place at Suncorp Stadium in Queensland on November 7. New Zealand goes in once again as heavy favorites with odds of 1.19, while the Wallabies are the underdogs with odds of 5.0. The Wallabies have a good record at Suncorp Stadium and will be playing for pride.

If you want a safe bet, go ahead and back the All Blacks as they have been dominant in the second and third games of the Bledisloe Cup. If you want to take a risky bet,  put money on Australia and hope they play as they did in the first game.

UFC

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) keeps Indian MMA fans busy every weekend as the UFC has scheduled weekend fight cards all the way into December. The next UFC Fight Night will take place on November 8 and headlined by Thiago Santos vs. Glover Teixeira.

The three fights that Indian fans should think about are all heavyweight fights. These include the Main Event, Co-Main event featuring Andrei Arlovski vs. Tanner Boser, and a preliminary fight featuring Alexandr Romanov vs. Marcos Rogério de Lima.

Thiago Santos vs. Glover Teixeira:

The last time Thiago Santos fought was during a title fight against Jon Jones, which he lost in July 2019. Since then, he has been out of action and will face veteran Glover Teixeira in what was expected to be a number one contender fight.

Bookmakers have Santos as the favorite with odds of 5/11 and Teixeira at 9/5. There are two key factors to consider here when you decide who you are going to bet on. The first factor is whether we will see the same Thiago Santos, who fought Jon Jones in the Octagon or has the layoff made him rusty. The second factor is whether Thiago Santos will be able to keep this fight on the feet.

If the answer to both questions is yes, then Santos is likely going to win. However, if Glover manages to get Santos to the ground, then it could very well end up in a submission. If you like taking risks, bet on Glover Teixeira and a win by submission.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Tanner Boser:

Former heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski goes in as the underdog with 2/5 odds against Aussie Tanner Boser 2/5. Arlovski has the experience and fight IQ to win by decision, and he has shown in recent fights that his chin is still good. We would put money no Arlovski and a win by decision.

Alexandr Romanov vs. Marcos Rogério de Lima:

Romanov is the heavy favorite as he has an undefeated record. We would put money on Romanov (9/4) to Lima’s 4/11.
